McCrory provided design-build services for the 11,922-square-foot expansion and renovation of The Burges Center at Franke at Seaside, a high-end, active-lifestyle Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Mount Pleasant, SC. The Burges Center is the amenities hub of the facility for the residents, offering dining as well as fitness and wellness centers, including an indoor heated pool. The project increases dining options to four different venues for the community, expands the gym and fitness center, and increases the area of additional amenity space. Access for the residents to the existing facility remained in place during the renovation of The Burges Center.
