Peace River Electric Cooperative, a not-for-profit electricity provider to 10 Florida counties, reached out to McCrory with the goal of building a headquarters that could capably serve a fast-growing base of more than 35,000 customers. The partnership, which launched with an in-depth preconstruction analysis, paid off with heightened efficiency and sustainability that would eventually earn coveted LEED Silver designation from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The two-story structure includes administrative offices, training rooms, a large central meeting room, an operations center, and a retail branch complete with a drive-thru porte cochre. The building is energy efficient from roof to foundation including sustainable site and construction management practices, water conservation and efficiency, and indoor environmental quality.
